Poet: Ananya S Guha
Poem: Dusk Descends
A touching poem, beautifully expressed. I like the human touch and the way the poet identifies his feeling as a child with that of the refugee Bangladeshi boy.

AMIYA CHATTERJEE {mr}

Poet: Jan oskar Hansen
Poem: Women
The poem is beautiful. The symbols that are used are most sensitive.I specially like the phrases "I inhale the night"
or "scowing (impotent?) men" "shooting holes in a sky that drips lead" The awareness of the environment is so touching.

AMIYA CHATTERJEE {mr}

Poet: Ananya S. Guha
Poem: "Poem"
This is the first time I got a chance to read your poem. It is amazing that we live in the same part of the world but we do not meet in the waves of poetry. From now on I shall make it a point to come to this site and try to browse through poems including yours. Now with regard to your poem POEM I must say it is small and beautiful, but I am not very happy about using the word Savage silence. May be you have your "Logic". But I would have used probably "Meaningful Silence".

Leszek, I was moved to tears when I read some of your poetry after stumbling across this site. Thanks for reminding me and I hope to read more of your work. Sharon

I was looking for a poem for my final project in my grade 11 English class. Our assignment is to put together pieces that describe for us what it means to be human. Adele Dixon

Poet: Jacqui Thornton
Poem: Sunrise
I have been searching for several weeks for a poem reflecting the morning and your poem SUNRISE is perfect. It draws the listener/reader in so that you really feel that you are actually there.
The reason for my search, is for the poem to be read during a concert which I am organising in memory of the local fishermen that died at sea. Would you be so kind as to give me permission for the poem to be read - the orator for the evening is excellent. I am doing this on a voluntary basis and cannot offer any financial recompense, but I can offer to put a credit in the programme to you.
The date for the concert is 29th September and it will take place in Grimsby!
I look forward to hearing from you.
